LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 81-year-old woman seriously burned in a fire in a South Los Angeles home died Wednesday.
The fire in the one-story home was reported at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday at 526 E. Jefferson Blvd., near San Pedro Street, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was knocked down in 12 minutes by 45 firefighters, said Scott.
The woman’s name was not immediately released.
