PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday said a missing 76-year-old woman was found dead inside her vehicle.
Gretchen Leonard was last seen driving her dark blue 2007 Lexus on Friday in the area of east Pasadena.
The car has a California license plate of 6LLD553.
Saturday afternoon around 11:20, Pasadena Police responded to a call about a car that had gone over an embankment.
Officials said the car with Leonard inside was found near the 300 block of Manford Way.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that Leonard also went missing last year but was later found. In that instance, police said it seemed she had forgotten where she was headed and drove to Tarzana.
